This depicts the Royal Navy off Norway which was originally painted whilst in flight aboard the Naval Airship NS7 by Lavery. He is a celebrated Irish painter best known for his portraits and wartime depictions. Shortly after the war he was knighted for his endeavours and paintings that he created whilst appointed as the Official Artist for WW1. He was also elected to the Royal Academy in 1921 amongst many of his other accolades

I have had this professionally framed (30” x 27”) and still clearly shows the annotations in the four corners
