Very Fashionable French Chinoiserie Brass 8 Day Hexagonal Clock (c.1900-1920’s).
In good used working condition with the odd imperfection commensurate with its age and use. It’s currently working well and will be serviced prior to dispatch.
The Brass hexagonal frame has a decorative wooden edge with carved hand painted oriental scenes, the beautiful painted clock face is protected by a bevelled glass pane with a brass beaded rim. It measures 8” x 8” x 5” D when standing and to the rear is a dust cap which protects the mechanism fitted with a platform escapement which also gives access to the spring winder and hand adjuster.
