Beautifully Presented Royal Navy Chromed Bronze Dolphins and HMS Dolphin Crest (c.1960-1998)
HMS Dolphin, also known as Fort Blockhouse, was the historic home of the Royal Navy’s submarine service. It was located in Gosport, near Portsmouth and now serves as the RN’s Submarine museum
In fabulous condition with the odd loss of chrome and some pitting commensurate with their age and use. They are well displayed and bolted on a gorgeous piece of vintage mahogany (32” x 19”) and
extremely well cast. Each one is approximately 14” x 14” and are identical, the 9” x 7” crest to the port side is cast metal and is secured by two brass screws. Overall this is very heavy weighing in at 18kg so postage will not be cheap especially internationally.
