Solid Mahogany Edwardian Sectional Barristers Bookcase by Lebus. c.1910
This is in great used condition and has a wonderful patina commensurate with its age. It’s hard to find any mark or scratch of any significance and it also retains the original glass on all 3 doors. It consists of 5 sections with the base having a twin handled drawer.
The
back is also unusually in fine fettle and the middle tier has a Bakelite shop label for “Reynolds & Co of Newport” who were office & hotel furnishers.
Overall it measures 54”H x 38”W x 13”D with the 3 sections having an internal height clearance of 13”, 13” & 11” when the doors are up and open.
