Stunning Art Nouveau French Marble Mantel Clock with Shipwright Statue & Garniture’s (c.1885)
This is fresh out of the workshop and in great used working condition, it might have the odd imperfection but I haven’t found any as yet!
The
marble on the clock & garnitures seem chip free, the gilt metalwork is repair free, the porcelain clock face with a hand painted garland is chip free and it keeps great time, delicately chiming on the hour and half hour.
The main body of the clock has a fabulous signed bronzed metal 19thC shipwright , holding a boat in one hand and has a rudder in the other, the identical garnitures that measure 17”H, have Grecian urns with an Art Nouveau design to them. Overall the clock measures 26”H x 14.5”W x 8.25”D and is fitted with a French 8 day strike movement.
(It comes with it original pendulum and key)
