Well presented late Victorian Taxidermy Fully Feathered Emu on plinth.
Its in good condition and has been well looked after. It stands 3ft from head to toe, is 30” from front to back and is @15” wide, it’s mounted on an Ebonised board which keeps the bird well balanced with its full feather plumage.
(Unlike the Ostrich this isn’t on the Cites list of endangered species and therefore an Article 10 certificate is not required, It’s also an antique pre dating to 1947 and so again a certificate is not required.)
Not many of these around and I’m sure a collector will give him a good home.
